ROHM conductive polymer capacitor
The cathode layer of conductive polymer capacitors uses conductive polymers. Compared with tantalum capacitors (manganese dioxide type), it achieves ultra-low ESR (equivalent series resistance), which helps to circulate high ripple current and remove high-frequency noise. By adopting a safety structure, the insulation of conductive polymers can achieve high safety in the event of unexpected failures. ROHM's conductive polymer capacitors adopt a new high-efficiency packaging design, achieving small, thin, and large capacity. Compared with ceramic capacitors, it does not cause a decrease in electrostatic capacitance due to DC bias, nor does it have piezoelectric characteristics, so it has no noise.
