Angle position sensor

The MPS electromagnetic angle position sensor MagAlpha provides a new method for measuring angles. Compared to our competitors' electromagnetic induction technology, we have utilized over a decade of experience to give MagAlpha a more unique performance advantage. The MagAlpha sensor adopts patented SpinAxis TM Hall measurement technology, which can provide digital instantaneous angular position. SpinAxisTM adopts a phase detection method that avoids the analog-to-digital conversion or complex angle calculation required in traditional techniques.

We use isolated bidirectional Hall effect linear current sensors to sample AC or DC currents, with a resistance conductive path below 1mohm that minimizes power loss and improves efficiency. MCS1803 minimizes the use of existing standard external components to the greatest extent possible. MCS1803 adopts SOIC-8 packaging. This small package saves board area and is an ideal choice for small volume applications such as inverters, power monitoring, and distributors.
