Winbond flash memory
Serial NOR Flash
SpiFlash supporting SPI, Dual SPI, Quad SPI, and QPI ® Memory. Winbond's W25X and W25Q SpiFlash ® Multi I/O memory supports a universal SPI interface with capacities ranging from 512Kb to 512Mb, featuring small capacity erasable blocks and the industry's highest operational performance. The W25X series supports Dual SPI dual input/output mode, which doubles the operating frequency of the original standard SPI. The W25Q series is an advanced version of the 25X series, which supports Quad-I/O SPI four wire input/output mode to provide higher performance. The operating frequency of 104MHz is equivalent to 416MHz (50M-Byte/S transmission rate), which is four times the performance of a typical single wire SPI operation. The W25Q series not only outperforms Parallel Flash in performance, but also offers packaging with fewer pins.
1.2V Serial NOR Flash
The W25QxxND 1.2V series products have comparable operational efficiency to existing 3V and 1.8V flash memory products, and can further save power consumption. For devices powered by batteries with limited design space, such as mobile devices, IoT, and wearable devices, as well as for flash memory that requires power saving and low power consumption, the W25QxxND 1.2V series products offer 2mm x 3mm USON8, narrow 150mil SOP8, 6x5mm WSON 8-pin package, and KGD (Known Good Die). The 1.2V series products can be extended to operate up to 1.5V using a single dry battery, unlike the typical design that requires two batteries connected in series to 3V for operation.
QspiNAND Flash
QspiNAND Flash specifically designed for code storage. Huabang offers a range of QspiNAND products compatible with SPI NOR interfaces, allowing users to avoid the hassle of choosing high-capacity memory. In the past, NOR Flash had a significant cost advantage in low capacity products, but NAND Flash is a more cost competitive product in large capacity products.
High Performance QspiNAND Flash
The all-new W25N series products are produced using Huabang's proprietary 46nm SLC NAND manufacturing technology. Compared to MLC (multi-level cell) and TCL (triple level cell), SLC (single level cell) NAND is a process technology with better reliability. Compared to other existing NAND on the market, Huabang's new high-performance QspiNAND has increased the data transfer rate by nearly four times, reaching a spectrum of 83MB/s. Therefore, it is more helpful in shortening the startup time.
OctalNAND Flash
The world's first NAND Flash using x8 Octal interface, the Huabang Octal NAND Flash product, is expected to provide high-capacity storage memory products for automotive electronics and industrial manufacturers, without the need to compromise on cost and purchase expensive high-capacity NOR Flash. As is well known, NOR Flash has poor cost expansion benefits for storage capacities above 512Mb. Huabang Electronics' first NAND product with a new interface, 1Gb W35N01JW, has a continuous read speed of up to 240MB per second, which is three times faster than Huabang's previously released high-performance W25N-JW QspiNAND Flash series products. Compared to typical Quad Serial NAND Flash products on the market, the read speed is nearly 10 times faster!
NAND Based MCP
The Multi Chip Package (MCP) series products combine 1.8V NAND memory and 1.8V low-power DRAM in the same package. The advantage of combining two chips in the same package is that it can save the area of the circuit board, thereby reducing the cost of the entire system. In many applications that are very concerned about system space, such as mobile phones and some portable devices, this multi chip packaging that can reduce the area of the circuit board appears to be more advantageous.
Security certification flash memory
Security authentication flash provides security authentication between the controller and flash memory to ensure and enhance the security of data transmission between these two devices. The W74M series products are equipped with a standard HMAC-SHA-256 encryption engine, as well as four independent unidirectional flash counters that can provide individual keys for signing with HMAC. Through various independent counters, the system can not only verify the integrity and authenticity of counter values, but also add timestamps to transmitted information, and improve resistance to replay attacks.
