InnoSwitch
The InnoSwitch series IC integrates primary, secondary, and feedback circuits into a surface mount offline flyback switch IC. All InnoSwitch ICs integrate primary MOSFETs, primary side controllers, secondary side controllers for synchronous rectification, and innovative FluxLink technology that eliminates optocouplers. PowiGaN is a gallium nitride (GaN) technology independently developed by Power Integrations. In PI highly integrated offline flyback switch ICs, PowiGaN switches replace traditional silicon transistors on the primary side, thereby reducing switching losses. Compared with silicon devices, PowiGaN products can achieve smaller, lighter, and more efficient chargers, adapters, and open power supplies.
TOPSwitch
The TOPSwitch series high-efficiency integrated power conversion IC is TOPSwitch JX. TOPSwitch JX integrates a 725 V power MOSFET and a fully functional multi-mode controller, achieving excellent no-load performance and providing high efficiency across the entire load range. TOPSwitch products are suitable for LCD displays, LCD TV main or standby power supplies, adapters, set-top boxes, audio amplifiers, video game consoles, printers, and various flyback power supplies with output power ranging from 0 W to 200 W.
LinkSwitch
LinkSwitch IC is widely used in various application fields, such as chargers, adapters, small and large household appliances, consumer audio and video systems, electricity meters, and various industrial bias power supplies. LinkSwitch-XT2 and LinkSwitch-TN2 integrate 900 V primary MOSFETs, suitable for power supply design of high-quality consumer electronic products in three-phase industrial power supplies and areas with unstable power grids, tropical areas frequently struck by lightning, or areas frequently experiencing high-energy oscillation waves and surges. The LinkSwitch series ICs are low-power offline switching devices that integrate high-precision controllers and high-voltage MOSFETs in a low pin count package. The LinkSwitch device adopts a simple ON/OFF controller, which is very suitable for applications where light load/no-load efficiency is a key specification requirement.
TinySwitch
TinySwitch devices are widely used in applications that require precise constant voltage or constant voltage/constant current operation, including computer bias power supplies, consumer audio and video products, home appliances and air conditioning bias power supplies, chargers and adapters, as well as various industrial power subsystems (including metering and control). The TinySwitch series products integrate high voltage power MOSFETs and ON/OFF flyback power controllers in a 7-pin SO or PDIP package. TinySwitch devices are suitable for small open type offline power supplies or power adapters up to 25 W, and have excellent no-load and light load efficiency as well as extremely fast transient response. The peripheral circuits of TinySwitch are easy to design, and the power subsystem using TinySwitch products is relatively insensitive to component differences caused by manufacturing deviations, aging, and operating temperatures.
InnoMux
InnoMax and InnoSwitch 3-MX chipsets capable of achieving high-efficiency displays and televisions. The InnoMax chipset suitable for display power applications includes an InnoMax controller IC and an InnoSwitch3-MX isolated switch IC. Compared with conventional power solutions, by increasing the overall efficiency of constant voltage and constant current LED backlight driver circuits, the total power consumption in display applications can be reduced by 50%, resulting in a power efficiency of 91%. TV and monitor designers can also reduce the number of components by more than 50%, thereby reducing manufacturing costs and enhancing the reliability of power boards.
MinE-CAP
MinE-CAP IC can significantly reduce the size of input high-capacity capacitors without affecting output ripple, work efficiency, or the need to redesign transformers. Compared with traditional technologies such as operating at extremely high switching frequencies, MinE-CAP using PowiGaN technology can achieve equivalent or larger overall power size reduction, while avoiding the challenges of complex EMI filtering and increased transformer/clamp dissipation associated with ultra-high frequency design.
Hiper
The Hiper series IC products are modules that contain multiple die units, can dissipate heat (through metal heat sinks or copper foil on PCB boards), and are packaged in SIP or SMD. They are suitable for offline power supplies ranging from 75 W to 400 W. They include controllers and high-voltage switches required for power factor correction and high-voltage DC/DC conversion, suitable for a variety of terminal applications, including LED lighting, PC and TV power supplies, video game console power supplies, printers, copiers, and power tool chargers.
CAPZero
CAPZero is an innovative product series newly launched by Power Integrations, which can reduce power consumption related to the discharge resistance of X-capacitors in switching power supplies. CAPZero is the only solution on the market that makes it easier for designs to meet the latest no-load and standby power requirements.
SENZero
SENZero is a single-chip integrated solution that enables power systems to meet strict no-load and standby power requirements (such as EuP Lot 6 and Lot 7 and other energy efficiency regulations). This device can eliminate power losses on the signal path/channel between the high-voltage bus and the power factor correction system and the power controller of the DC/DC converter. For example, it includes the feedforward or feedback signal path connected to the boost controller in the power factor correction system, as well as the feedforward signal path in the dual switch forward/LLC/half bridge and full bridge converters.
Qspeed
The Qspeed Schottky diode combines an extremely low reverse recovery charge (QRR) and an extremely soft recovery waveform. These advanced features can help designers improve the performance of their power conversion circuits.
LinkZero
The LinkZero series of ICs includes LinkZero LP and LinkZero AX. LinkZero LP is a zero idle power, integrated offline switch IC suitable for 3 W chargers and adapters. ChiPhy
To meet the requirements of adaptive fast charging systems, Power Integrations has developed the ChiPhy (Charging Interface Physics) series of ICs. When used in conjunction with Power Integrations' AC-DC switch ICs such as TOPSwitch or TinySwitch, ChiPhy IC can add adaptive fast charging functionality to AC-DC wall chargers.
DPA-Switch
The DPA Switch IC product line is a highly integrated solution for DC-DC conversion applications with 16-75 VDC input. The DPA switch adopts the same mature topology circuit as TOPSwitch, integrating power MOSFETs, PWM controllers, fault protection circuits, and other control circuits into a single CMOS chip in a cost-effective manner. High performance features are enabled by three user configurable pins. At the same time, it also provides hysteresis thermal shutdown protection.
