Bosch motion sensor
Accelerometer
Bosch Sensortec has designed a series of 3-axis accelerometers specifically for low-power applications optimized for devices such as smartphones and wearable devices. The accelerometer measures changes in linear motion by applying the sensing principle of capacitance detection. All accelerometers use small and thin LGA packaging. The interrupt function of sensors provides additional special advantages for mobile applications, such as power-saving mode or free fall detection. The sensing principle of all MEMS sensors in this category is capacitive detection.
BMA456: The three-axis BMA456 is an ultra small, low g high-performance accelerometer suitable for low-power, demanding consumer electronics applications. It can sense wrist tilt, tags, and dual tags in wearable devices, and help with accurate measurements when temperature changes occur.
BMA422: BMA422 is an ultra small accelerometer with a digital interface, 12 bit digital resolution, and embedded intelligence, suitable for low-power consumer electronics applications. It allows measurement on three vertical axes and meets the requirements of Android TMN low-power accelerometers.
BMA400: BMA400 is an ultra-low power accelerometer suitable for wearable devices and smart home applications that require longer battery life. The BMA400 consumes ten times less current than existing accelerometers while providing stable high performance. BMA253; BMA253 is a low gravity accelerometer with digital output, suitable for consumer applications. It allows measuring acceleration on three vertical axes. Due to its ultra small size and flat packaging, this sensor is highly suitable for mobile applications.
gyroscope
BMG250 is an ultra small digital 3-axis gyroscope sensor. The BMG250 provides accurate low-noise angular rate (gyroscope) measurements with market leading low power consumption. BMG250 has been optimized for image stabilization tasks in parallel with standard user interface applications. The BMG250 is designed for low-power, high-precision multi axis UI applications in parallel with optical or electronic image stabilization (OIS&EIS), suitable for special use cases in mobile phones, tablets, camera modules, and head mounted devices.
Magnetometer
The low-power, low-noise BMM150 is a 3-axis digital geomagnetic sensor that perfectly meets the requirements of compass applications. By tailoring sensor data fusion software specifically for hardware, BMM150 provides high-precision and dynamic absolute spatial direction and motion vectors. The BMM150 is also particularly suitable for supporting accurate heading of drones. The BMM150 can be used with an inertial measurement unit consisting of a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope (such as Bosch Sensortec's BMI055).
IMU
Bosch Sensortec has optimized its IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) for advanced smartphones, wearable devices, AR and VR, drones, gaming, and robotics applications. They aim to provide customers with maximum flexibility. IMU combines gyroscope and accelerometer in a System in Package (SiP). Absolute direction sensor
The highly integrated 9-axis absolute direction sensor is a combination of 3-axis acceleration sensor, 3-axis gyroscope, and 3-axis geomagnetic sensor. The integrated components of this MEMS sensor can be accessed independently and are fully supported by BoschSensortec's FusionLib software library. This type of absolute direction sensor module can be found in fields such as AR, Human Machine Interface (HMI), and location-based services.
