On November 7, 2022, Microchip Technology Inc. announced the launch of the PIC32CXMT series 32-bit microcontroller equipped with a new MPL460 power line communication (PLC) modem. This new microcontroller (MCU) device is the next generation intelligent instrument platform, suitable for industrial IoT, commercial, and industrial instrument applications. This platform has a maximum operating performance of up to 200 MHz and extensive scalability with up to 560 KB of storage space (SRAM).
