It is used for electrical connection between high-density dual row lead out packaging components such as electronic watches, LCD displays, integrated circuits, and printed circuit boards. Rubber connectors can be divided into various types such as non-conductive rubber, conductive rubber, and pressure-sensitive conductive rubber.

Classification of rubber connectors

A connector made of non-conductive rubber. A connector made of non-conductive rubber - using a thin rubber rod like a pencil lead, wrapped with a flexible film with micro metalized parallel wires. Place these two elastic thin rods on both sides of the double row lead out end package, place them on the printed circuit board, press and fix them, and then connect the two columns of lead out wires of the device to the corresponding lines on the board one by one through micro metalized parallel wires used as contact bodies.

Conductive rubber and non-conductive rubber are bonded and stacked alternately. A connector made by alternately bonding conductive rubber and non-conductive rubber - this connector is made by stacking conductive rubber sheets and non-conductive rubber sheets of corresponding thickness according to the center distance of the leads of the double row lead out end package, and then cutting them into rubber sticks of the size described in Type 1. In this way, each lead wire on the device and each printed wire on the board are connected by conductive rubber buttons one by one.

Pressure sensitive rubber connector. Pressure sensitive rubber connector, shaped like a pad, with a thickness of about 0.4 millimeters. When this type of connector is clamped between a device and a printed circuit board, only the slight pressure applied by the thin height of the leads printed or plated on the substrate and the circuit on the board can cause the metal particles in the rubber pad filled with metal to rearrange, thereby forming a conductive path perpendicular to the connection surface, and insulating between the device leads and the circuit on the board adjacent to each other in the horizontal, left, right, and diagonal directions.
